Ergon GX2 grips

I’ve been wanting to get a set of ergon grips for my rigid singlespeed for a while now. I am hoping the ergo shape will ease the palm pain on longer rides, and the dinky bar-ends will provide some more hand positions and some out of the seat gruntability.  Anyway I picked up a set last night and have yet to fit them. The first thing I noticed in not so much “ergo” but more “eco”. The display packaging they come in us both impressive and ridiculous, it is way over the top.
