Ergon GX2 grips
I’ve been wanting to get a set of ergon grips for my rigid singlespeed
for a while now. I am hoping the ergo shape will ease the palm pain on
longer rides, and the dinky bar-ends will provide some more hand
positions and some out of the seat gruntability.
Anyway I picked up a set last night and have yet to fit them. The
first thing I noticed in not so much “ergo” but more “eco”. The
display packaging they come in us both impressive and ridiculous, it
is way over the top. I can see the need for a company to promote it’s
product well in a point of sale situation. However in my situation I
chose the product before I saw them in real life or in their natural
packaged state.
Maybe ergon could provide a “downloadable” version of their product in
a more eco friendly OEM style packaging. Mildly ironically I ordered a
the team green colour option, turns out this colour is not available
in Australia
